 Sandstone Cairns is dedicated to the raising and breeding of happy, healthy, breed standard Cairn Terrier.  We raise all of our puppies with love and  they are well socialized.  They spend time in our home, yard and in the surrounding mountains.  We only adopt our puppies to loving homes and we will ask you personal information, such as, your intentions for this puppy and questions about your family, home, yard, etc.  We encourage you to ask us any questions about the breeding and raising of our Cairns puppies, as well.

New Puppy Contract

Our Cairn Terrier puppies are available to go to their new homes at  8 weeks of age.  If your puppy remains in our care after the “available date”, a $8/day fee will be charged for boarding your puppy.  If no arrangements have been made to retrieve your Cairn Terrier puppy seven days after the “available date” it will be left to our discretion to place the puppy with someone else.

When you pick up your puppy we require CASH.

To promote responsible breeding, all of our puppies are sold on a LIMITED REGISTRATION, meaning that they aren’t to be bred or shown.

We only sell our puppies to wonderful pet homes and have the right to refuse any inquiries.        

Your puppy has been hand raised in our home and has been showered with love and affection from birth, we would love to stay in touch with each and every one of our new families.

Each Cairn Terrier  is guaranteed until 1 year of age against genetic defects that would affect the puppy’s quality of life.

The breeder is not responsible after the sale for any change to coat.

The breeder guarantees a healthy Cairn Terrier at the time of sale.

The breeder reserves the right to refuse sale, at any time, refunding the deposit received and voiding this contract or any right to a puppy before the puppy is picked up or shipped.

The buyer agrees to have their newly acquired puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery or the guarantee is not applicable.  If  said puppy is found to be other than healthy by the buyer’s vet, it shall be returned to the breeder immediately and the purchase price will be refunded in full.  Deadline for this refund is one week following the return of the puppy to breeder.  A written statement from the buyer’s veterinarian with credentials must be forwarded to the breeder.

The breeder does not assume any liability for injuries to puppy after delivery.

The buyer understands the importance of keeping puppy away from potential illnesses until ALL vaccinations have been administered.

The buyer agrees to maintain puppy’s health condition, vaccinations and worming to help assure the puppy’s good health.

The buyer understands the many factors influencing growth and development in their new puppy such as diet, exercise, ETC.., and further understands the breeder can offer no further guarantees once the puppy has been turned over to the buyer.  Breeder assumes no responsibility for veterinary costs after buyer takes possession of the puppy.

If the buyer is unable to keep dog for it’s lifespan, the buyer agrees to notify the breeder and allow breeder to help find a suitable new home for the dog.  The buyer agrees to not place the animal in a shelter, another home or euthanize the animal without the consent of the breeder.

The buyer agrees that he/she is not acting as an agent in the purchase of this animal and that it will remain in his/her custody. The buyer further swears that he/she is not associated with a pet shop, puppy mill or animal broker.

I, the undersigned, understand and accept the terms and conditions presented here and by signing, I am making this a binding contract.
